Shutter GuyAustin is owned and operated by Michael White, a graduate of Texas Tech University with a major in advertising and a minor in Spanish.

Nothing makes me happier than providing a super-convenient shopping experience and seeing how delighted my customers are a few weeks later when their beautiful window coverings are installed. I started Shutter GuyAustin because I was excited about the success my sister had operating her shutter business for many years. I knew I’d find it satisfying to operate Shutter GuyAustin when I saw my sister’s customers thrilled with the superior quality, personalized service and reasonable prices they received for their plantation shutter, blind and shade purchases.

My background wholesaling to interior designers and architects gives me a special perspective for helping homeowners find just the right window coverings for their needs.  I focus on delivering the most value possible for my customer’s investment.  Before starting Shutter GuyAustin, I represented custom furniture and fabric companies to interior designers and architects.  My territory included Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and Utah.
