Shutters

Welcome to Shutter Guy Austin’s online Shutter Showroom. We sell custom wood plantation shutters from our manufacturer in Texas. Information about our high-quality Texas-made custom plantation shutters is provided below. Click HERE to see Shutter Style Options. A very informal video tour I made of the factory is shown below the shutter details.

Our Custom Plantation Shutters are available in any Sherwin Williams or Pittsburgh Paint colors, and we can match any color and styles to fit any room. Operation of the shutters is effortless. Your options are limitless. You can choose from:

  • Four different louver widths and custom paint or stain colors to match your room.
  • A variety of framing options.
  • Shutters built with divider rails or without divider rails (to allow part of a panel to be open while another part is closed).
  • Clearview hidden tilters for panoramic views or Standard tilters.
  • Standard hinged single panels or hinged bi-fold panels as desired.
  • Wide panels or narrow panels.
  • Eyebrow arches and other custom shapes.

We will design your shutters exactly as you want them and to fit your décor.

Our Custom Shutters are made in Houston to your exact specifications, so they fit perfectly and look beautiful.

They are made from kiln-dried North American Basswood (also available in Knotty Alder) which has a beautiful grain and resists warping and shrinking.

The panels overlap and close tightly, preventing light gaps and enhancing the beauty of the shutters.

A variety of options are available for arched windows. The shutters are manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility and installed by thoroughly trained installers.

Our goals are to make your shutter purchase as smooth as possible, from measure to final installation, and to provide you with shutters that enhance your lifestyle for a lifetime.
